Reports emerged Tuesday that Wright had joined a lawsuit against Fox News alleging racial discrimination and harassment by the employer.

Wright is reportedly alleging that he “has been effectively sidelined and asked to perform the role of a ‘Jim Crow’ — the racist caricature of a Black entertainer.’”

Eleven current and former Fox News employees filed a class-action lawsuit against the network on Tuesday, accusing it of “unlawful and hostile racial discrimination.”

Among those named in the lawsuit are Judith Slater, who was fired last month as Fox News comptroller after nearly 20 years employment at the network.

“We take any complaint of this nature very seriously and took the appropriate action in investigating and firing Ms. Slater within two weeks of this being brought to our attention,” said Fox News in a statement at the time. “There is no place for abhorrent behavior like this at Fox News.”

You may even decide to opt out and turn off the 'programming' and then choose what you watch, via services like Netflix and Youtube or Vimeo, which offers instant, on demand information, entertainment, movies and many other channels such as Democracy Now and others, without forcing you to belief fake news entertainment.

You don't need cable, satellite TV or other corporate controlled, top down power structures telling you what to believe, what to watch and what to pay. 

Check out the many services that offer you instant movies and channels online, via the Internet. Youtube is fascinating, in that you can find whatever you want, including full length movies for free in most cases. Netflix and other service providers offer entertainment and documentaries as well as TV shows that are on demand, so you can watch whatever you want, whenever you want to watch it.

These days, greed and power is celebrated and held up as something to achieve, but definitely NOT to be resisted by anyone, or they will be punished. 

We have established that just a few corporations own or control most mass media news and controlling public perceptions and information flow. HOW MASS MEDIA IS CONTROLLED, MANAGED AND MANIPULATED IN ORDER TO MISLEAD AND DECEIVE PEOPLE INTO 'BUYING' A PRO 1 PERCENT AGENDA, BELIEF SYSTEM AND POLITICAL DISEMPOWERMENT


To give just one example of how mass media is controlled and manipulated, Wikipedia says; "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism. It is a 2004 documentary film by filmmaker Robert Greenwald that criticises the Fox News Channel, and its owner, Rupert Murdoch, claiming that the channel is used to promote and advocate right-wing views. The film says this pervasive bias contradicts the channel's claim of being "Fair and Balanced", and argues that Fox News has been engaging in what amounts to consumer fraud.

The documentary was not released theatrically, but rather was distributed in DVD format by the Political action committee MoveOn.org, and sold online through Internet retailers such as Amazon.com, where it was a top-seller in July 2004.[1] MoveOn.org had helped promote the DVD release by taking out a full-page advertisement in The New York Times.[1]

The film examines the global growth of Murdoch's media enterprise in the context of concentration of media ownership considerations, and evaluates the effect of having one person in control of a large media conglomerate on freedom of the press. Outfoxed's analysis includes: Review of Fox News's coverage during the lead-up to, and the aftermath of, the 2003 invasion of Iraq. 

Interviews with former Fox News journalists, exposing incidents where Fox News asked journalists to lie, and when they refused, they were fired. When the reporters sued Fox in court, providing proof of their claim, the court ruled that there is no current law against lying on a news program. 

Instances where Fox News commentators such as Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity attempt to intimidate guests with whom they disagree, such as author and activist Jeremy Glick. 

Studies which evidence more airtime and coverage is consistently given to Republican politicians, particularly those in the George W. Bush administration, than to Democrats. And of course, no third parties are given ANY exposure at all, further skewing what the public thinks and believes. 

Inspection of whether Fox News' premature result-calling of the 2000 presidential election contributed to George W. Bush officially being elected. 

Scrutiny over Fox News management, including Murdoch and president Roger Ailes, both conservatives, in controlling the network's content, and editorial control from Murdoch down ensuring which stories and issues are covered and the strongly conservative perspective of such coverage. Roger Ailes was a former head of political election campaigns for major Republican candidates. 

Discussion of suspensions and other reprisals meted out to reporters and producers for not promoting the channel's political point of view. Highlights of Fox News's tendency to pick strong, confident, conservatives and weak-looking, complacent liberals to appear on it. 

Former Fox News journalists appear in the film critiquing the methods and perceived integrity of their former employer. For example, Jon Du Pre, a former reporter for Fox News's West Coast bureau, said that he had been suspended by Fox News management because his live shots from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on Ronald Reagan's birthday — which Du Pre described was like a "holy day" to Fox News's hierarchy — were not "celebratory enough." 

A former Fox News military contributor, Larry C. HUGE CORPORATIONS PROGRAM AND CONTROL PEOPLE PLUS WHAT THEY THINK OR BELIEVE IN MANY WAYS, SUCH AS GETTING PEOPLE TO BELIEVE THAT GLOBAL WARMING IS A HOAX


Although this movie illustrates how ONE corporation (News Corp) owns much of the mass media, and skews news to reflect the corporate viewpoint, it is not the only corporation doing this. Large corporations not only own media, they also manipulate and engineer 'programming' with methods that are pointed out in this movie, in order to influence elections, rig outcomes and to manipulate what people think and then say. 

Huge carbon and nuclear companies manipulate how people think and pay off politicians to make reality seem like a conspiracy theory.

Bill nails it when he points to fear of change as the real but unconscious reason why people voted for Trump, and why they still support him. Fox is also part of this dynamic, because it symbolizes and represents a time in the past, when things were very different from today. They do not like the changes, such as women in the work place, women being equal, and the Internet, so everything must be fought, have a war against it, and the military must be built up, all due to fear of change.

The one thing that all of the above 'values' have in common is that huge corporations and the 1 percent are pushing the above, because they are good for corporate profits and the bottom line. 

Think about corporations and what is good for them, and it pretty much all starts making sense as far as what is shown and talked about on mass media in general. The goal of huge corporations is to get rid of anything owned by the public and for the COMMON GOOD, and privatize it. In other words, make everything, including the air, water, ground and your very life into a privately owned, corporate controlled profit making enterprise. Unions are not allowed by huge corporations, because they 'hurt' profits, and absolute power held by corporate monopolies. Why share the wealth with the workers if you don't have to? Unions just get in the way of absolute power, absolute control, and absolute wealth.

WHEN DELUSION BECOMES REALITY, AND REALITY IS FAKE NEWS, OR AN EXISTENTIAL THREAT, ISN'T THAT 1984 AND CATCH 22?

Usually people who are delusional get very few people to listen to them, but when you get a billionaire to back you and you get multiple media outlets streaming delusional material 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, then it makes sense why so many people believe alternative facts as if they are in fact reality... Usually people like Bo Gritz get very small audiences and don't make it in politics because their views are so outrageously extreme, hateful and fear producing, but that all changed when Trump got elected. Now crazy is the new normal and any extremist can get an audience and platform on mass media, plus get elected to a high office, all thanks to billionaires backing them. 

There are a number of examples of right wing extremists, but here is one of them, as described by the Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks terrorists, hate groups and extremists.

Is that what you really want? 

SUMMARY; START THINKING FOR YOURSELF AND DON'T FEAR CHANGE, EMBRACE IT INSTEAD AND FLOW WITH IT 


You may tend to start thinking more for yourself and not be told what to think, how to think it and who to think it with. You will search out news and information via other sources that are not just 'corporate spin' outlets, and start listening to 'other' less popular viewpoints. Who knows, you may even create your own 'voice' and thoughts, and not accept corporate speak anymore. 

You may even start noticing distinctions such as community based, bottom's up viewpoints, groups and actions, versus top down 1% corporate controlled viewpoints, groups and actions.

If you dive deeper still and keep watching in a neutral way, you may start noticing the unconscious 'energy' that goes with this media programming, which plays out in churches, non profits, corporations, and other places that people gather in groups. This energy is not even about individuals or corporations.

Once you get to this point, you will notice that the root cause of this corporate takeover of media and politics is actually more about a lack of consciousness, rather than some individual person who is 'evil' or bad.

Then some questions may arise; what is consciousness? how do we change consciousness? Who am I? 

Finally, a person may start looking inside and meditating or doing other things to increase consciousness, which in turn will affect the consciousness of others. 

This is the road less traveled, which leads to a forest with no trail. You will make a trail through the forest, for others to follow. The trail you forge may end up being a highway, but someone has to forge the trail first. 

As Emerson says; "Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path, and leave a trail." And that is what A Green Road Project is all about.
