As Mark Green and I depicted in our new book—Fake President: Decoding Trump’s Gaslighting, Corruption, and General Bullsh*t— loser Trump always retaliates against opponents by charging fraud, fakery, and crookery. Trump’s intimidation of others is amplified by the media that gives no right of reply to Trump’s targets.

What is most troubling are the silences of the countervailing forces that Americans have a right to rely on to fight Trump the tyrant.

Post acquittal, Trump has doubled down on his numerous impeachable offenses (see the Congressional Record from December 18, 2019, page H 12197). But Democrats, who control the House, are not doubling down on their impeachment investigations. Instead, they are following orders from Speaker Pelosi and standing down.

Trump regularly attacks the judges who rule against him or dare to challenge his illegal acts. Yet there is only silence by the many judge’s associations and the many bar associations. The American Bar Association, which has over 194,000 members, remains asleep. All of its members, so-called “officers of the court,” are attorneys and should understand their responsibilities to uphold the rule of law.

Trump’s Party has a long history of vicious voter suppression (chronicled in the new documentary, Suppressed: The Fight to Vote, by Robert Greenwald). These anti-democratic actions should be considered serious crimes. However, the members of the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) are largely unprepared to protect voter rights and accurate counting of votes. Some Secretaries of State are aiding and abetting these electoral crimes. Current Georgia Governor Brian Kemp used his power as Georgia’s Secretary of State to suppress black voters, cheating his way to the Governor’s mansion in 2018.

Trump is now doing what all dictators do when they take power: he is purging the civil service of any critical voices of those who simply want to do their jobs. These civil servants made the “mistake” of enforcing health and safety laws that the supreme leader wanted to go unenforced to benefit the President’s big corporate buddies and donors. The government employee unions are not doing enough to fight back and explain what Trump the tyrant is doing to harm people—Trump voters and anti-Trump voters alike. Trump and his cronies are making America more dangerous again by scuttling protections that reduce deaths, injuries, and illnesses.

US history has been defined throughout by a divide-and-conquer strategy of racial manipulation. As we outline in our new Strip & Flip Death of American Democracy(freepress.org / solartopia.org): chattel slavery, the Constitution’s “three-fifths bonus,” Jim Crow segregation, third world imperial conquest and the Drug War have all played a role in denying African-American/Hispanic/Asian-American citizens their right to vote. From the foundation of the Republic, this disenfranchisement has defined the balance of power.In recent years, the disenfranchisement has been most importantly done by the Republican Party, and by computer. As investigative reporter Greg Palast has shown in his book/movie The Best Democracy Money Can Buy (www.gregpalast.com) in 2000 Florida Governor Jeb Bush used a program called ChoicePoint to strip more than 90,000 predominantly black and Hispanic citizens from the voter registration rolls in an election decided by 537 votes. The pretext was alleged felony convictions. The selection was “won” by Bush’s brother George W although a full recount (which was stopped by the US Supreme Court by one vote) would have given Al Gore the majority in Florida, and in the Electoral College.








































As we have reported from Columbus, in 2004 more than 300,000 predominantly urban citizens were stripped from the voter registration rolls in an election the GOP won by 118,775. A quarter of all voters in heavily Democratic Cleveland were de-registered. Ohio’s ill-got electoral votes gave George W. Bush a second term. This became the only time in US history an entire state’s Electoral College delegation was challenged on the floor of the US Congress.

This year, Palast has reported that a new program called Crosscheck has been used by some 30 GOP Secretaries of State to strip more than 1.1 million predominantly black, Hispanic, Islamic and Asian-American citizens from the voter rolls.

Either there is a basic universal right to vote, or there is not. In the US, there is a promise of one vote, per person, but in practice, only a small percentage of people register, and an even smaller number of US citizens vote. Part of the problem is that voting is seen as a 'privilege', which be made difficult or impossible, depending on race, location and party affiliation.


Fascism depends on people NOT VOTING. In the US, less people vote than in just about any other democratic country.

United States, A Banana Republic | Nel’s New Day


“Banana Republic” is a term to describe governments with countries that suffer from lack of democracy and corruption. How the United States fits the description of a “banana republic”:

An extremely stratified social class with a large impoverished working class and an ultra-rich ruling-class plutocracy with a lack of a middle class and lack of upward mobility: The U.S. has had the highest income inequality and lowest upward mobility of any country in the developed world for several years, and it keeps worsening.

Government’s corrupt connection with big business: As in fascist countries, U.S. conservative politicians have supported the merger of state and corporate power by removing regulations, giving corporations billions of dollars in tax cuts and subsidies, and putting banks and corporations above the law. The person occupying the Oval Office is profiting with millions—possibly trillions—from domestic groups and foreign government encouraged to use his businesses despite his constitutional violation of the Emoluments Clause.

A male business, political, and military elite controlling the nation: In a circular pattern, politicians take money from business for campaigns in exchange for subserviency, and conservative politicians vote for increased military expenses to keep money flowing into their states. Lack of regulations moves wealth offshore while workers suffer. Conservative politicians put white conservative males into control on the courts, protecting only white males and big business and permitting illegal tax evasion. All new DDT judicial nominees are male, recognizing that “we the ruling males” are in charge instead of the constitutional “we the people.” Less than one-third of the U.S. population is white male, but they still control the nation.

Police corruption and expanding police state: The frequent pattern of using military equipment for police actions is like military actions in Iraq, and law enforcement increasingly kill people in “accidents” or badly orchestrated sting operations. Laws since 9/11 permit warrantless wiretapping and other tactics common in dictatorships.

Highest incarceration rate in the world: The 716 prisoners per 100,000 residents in the U.S. far exceed the 114 in Canada, the 79 in German, and even the 162 in Saudi Arabia. Privatized prisons have greatly increased the number of prisoners because the government gets kickbacks from these businesses for their campaigns that keep them the ruling party.

Lack of access to healthcare: Despite the Affordable Care Act, Dictator Donald Trump (DDT) created a path to health insurance that doesn’t provide for pre-existing conditions, hospitalizations, maternal care, and other health needs by conning them into believing that they save money. DDT’s newest plan is like a person paying less for a car that doesn’t run. People in the U.S. pay more than most developed countries for healthcare expenses and are reduced to medical bankruptcies but are convinced that universal health care is evil.

Much shorter life expectancy in poor than wealthy: In one West Virginia county, life expectancy for males is 63.9 years compared to 81.6 years, 17.7 years higher, in affluent Fairfax County (VA)—a difference of 27 percent. Bangladesh life expectancy is higher than McDowell County (WV). U.S. women’s life expectancy was #41 in 2010.

Hunger and malnutrition: Banana republics are associated with food insecurity, but the need for food stamps in the U.S. has increased from one in 50 during the 1970s to one in eight with 50 million people, including 12 million children, suffering from food insecurity.

High infant mortality: Fifty-seven countries have a smaller infant mortality rate than the U.S. In first-day death rate, babies dying the day that they are born, the U.S. has the highest rate in the industrialized world, twice as many as in the European Union.

Most politicians are little more than prostitutes, dialing for dollars from billionaires and huge corporations, but they dress nicely, don't they? 

There is no more debate between two political parties to come up with a compromise or solution that benefits the PEOPLE, who are the 99 percent. There is just a ramming through of corporate friendly laws, while ignoring the other party, and the 99 percent.

Trump’s charges resonate well beyond the relative minority of his supporters who respond to racist agitation because his claims correspond to the bitter experience of broad masses of people with what passes for American democracy. This is, after all, a country that had a stolen election. The US Supreme Court shut down a vote recount in Florida and awarded the 2000 election to George W. Bush, who had lost the popular vote to Democrat Al Gore.

This was followed by the 2004 election, when George W. Bush was reelected based on disputed voting in Ohio and widespread charges of voter suppression.The question, however, goes far beyond vote-rigging. Even by the standards of other major capitalist countries, the electoral system in the United States is among the least democratic. 

The two-party system is institutionalized, enforcing a political monopoly of two right-wing parties entirely beholden to the financial aristocracy—this in a vast and diverse country of 320 million people!'

State ballot access and election laws impose prohibitive requirements, including the collection of tens of thousands of signatures, making it virtually impossible for “third party” and independent candidates to mount an effective campaign.

























In just about any other civilized country, many different political parties are on the ballot and whatever votes they get, are then translated into representation in the political system.

The US has a limit of just two parties.. Why is that?

When this country was 'founded', there were no political parties.

There is a way that the corporate owned mass media supports the secret control of government by the 1 percent, via not covering certain candidates, and not talking or allowing certain subjects to be aired.

Censorship is the result of this refusal to air people like Noam Chomsky, while giving free and extensive air time to pro 1 percent types, such as Trump.

"As recently as September 2011, a team at the U.S. Department of Energy's Argonne National Laboratory hacked into one of Diebold's old Accuvote touchscreen systems. Their report asserted that anyone with $26 in parts and an eighth-grade science education would be able to manipulate the outcome of an election. "This is a national security issue," wrote the Argonne team leader, Roger Johnston, using the sort of language that would normally set off alarm bells in our security-obsessed culture. Yet his warning has gone unheeded, and the Accuvote-TSX, now manufactured by ESS, will be used in twenty states by more than 26 million voters in the 2012 general election.

Johnston's group also breached a system made by another industry giant, Sequoia, using the same "man in the middle" hack – a tiny wireless component that is inserted between the display screen and the main circuit board – which requires no knowledge of the actual voting software. The Sequoia machine will be used in four states by nearly 9 million voters in 2012."

COMPUTER PROGRAMMER TESTIFIES HE WAS PAID TO RIG/FIX ELECTION VIA ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES, AND NO ONE CAN SEE WHAT WAS DONE, AND ANYONE CAN DO THIS EASILY


Computer Programmer testifies that Tom Feeney (Speaker of the House of Florida at the time, currently US Representative) tried to pay him to rig election vote counts and then hide that vote stealing.

There is no one checking the source code of electronic voting machines, so who knows how many votes are rigged in however many states.

This programmer says one way to tell if an election is rigged is to do exit polling and if it differs from the actual vote count, then the election was 'hacked' and stolen, rigged, fixed.

Of course, differences between exit polling and actual votes are common, but no one follows up to see if the electronic voting machines where rigged, hacked or compromised.

No one inside the Dualopoly seems to care, whether it is in the primaries, or the general elections.

Remember that most states voting results do not need to be rigged or stolen to swing an election, since most states vote consistently one way or the other. It is only in a few 'swing' states that rigging the election voting results can and will swing an election, and those states include Florida, which is where the programmer above reported Republicans conspiring to steal the election via tampering with electronic voting machine codes.

The question is; why are electronic voting machines allowed to be used, when there is NOTHING in place to check their code for tampering or rigging?

Why are voting machine central compilers allowed to be used when they can also be rigged and have voting results switched very easily, and nothing is in place to protect against this?

Smith searched for evidence that GEMS programmers had discussed methods to reduce round-off, truncation, or lost value errors. He began searching online e-mail databases for messages about issues with decimal votes.

These are available because over 13,000 e-mails were leaked in 2003. They were initially published at BlackBoxVoting.org, resulting in a DMCA takedown order, which produced push-back from students across the U.S. First at Swarthmore University, then at over a dozen more colleges and grass roots Web sites, the blocked, leaked e-mails were re-posted, resulting in successive takedown orders by Diebold, an article in the New York Times, U.S. Representative Dennis Kucinich posting some of the e-mails on his congressional Web site, and a successful lawsuit by the Electronic Frontier Foundation in which a court revoked Diebold’s claim to protection of the e-mails on the grounds that they serve a greater public interest.

Discovery by Election Activists Allows Ordinary Citizens to Expose Election-Rigging

At the "Take Back the Vote! – Emergency Election Integrity Conference" in Richmond, California on October 8th and 9th, researchers revealed that 40% of paper ballot vote-scanning machines in the US make digital images of the ballots at the same time as they "read" the votes, and then store these images as a single digital file. Activists say that this file can be demanded by the public. Citizens can count the markings on the digital images of all the ballots, to ensure that the machine-count of votes which is announced as the official result matches the true tally from the ballots.

In order to find out what model of voting machines are used in one's hometown, online tools are available. The non-profit organization VerifiedVoting.org publishes a "Verifier" which tells a voter what kind of machines are in use in any town or municipality. The vote-counting machines which create digital images of the paper ballots are the DS200, the DS850, manufactured by Election Systems & Software (ES&S) and the ImageCast Precinct, made by Dominion Systems. All generate digital ballot images automatically. Together these three models account for about 40% of US precincts. (How to use the "verifier.")

Even though Kemp is in a close election with Democrat Stacey Abrams for the governor’s mansion in Georgia, he’s still allowed to oversee the election as secretary of state (Abrams’ camp just called for Kemp to resign as secretary of state). Exact Match allows the state to purge voter registrations if the voter registration has any differences—no matter how small—from other state documents. For example, if your gun license says “Kanye West” and your voter registration says “Kanye Omari West” and your marriage license says “Kanye O. West,” even if everything from Social Security numbers to tax forms and previous overrated albums all lineup, Brian Kemp will snatch your application.

This process was already settled by the courts in 2017, because over 63 percent of the voter registrations that were canceled were from minority applicants. Strangely, over 70 percent of those who have been removed from the rolls are African American. Yet, thanks to the Republican-dominated state legislature in Georgia, Exact Match is back, and over 53,000 voter registrations are on hold just under 30 days before the election.

Because the big two parties are 'owned' by corporations, if you vote for either one of them, your vote is wasted. Dualopoly political candidates cannot get to that level unless they buy into what corporations want, because it takes so much money to get to that level. HUGE CORPORATIONS BACK ALMOST ALL WINNING DUALOPOLY CANDIDATES, WHO ARE THEN OWNED BY THOSE CORPORATIONS


Only corporations and billionaires who 'own' these corporations can 'sponsor' candidates with HUGE money from Super Pacs and secret money that cannot be traced back to corporations or to the few billionaires who control them. 

Once these Dualopoly candidates take the money, it also means they 'owe' corporations and their 1% billionaire owners such as the Koch Brothers 'favors' or at least a favorable view when it comes to lawmaking, policy, etc. Bingo, democracy has been largely lost, because the people's and workers voice has just been cut out, their votes have been stolen, and their views have been suppressed.


Corporate financed candidates win most elections, and most politicians backed by corporations follow the 'orders' of those corporations, and do not represent citizens interests any longer. They lie in order to get into office, but once there, they betray the people they promised to represent and do the corporate bosses bidding.

Democracy has been hacked and the whole voting system is rigged against citizens. 




To counter this, vote only for candidates that take no corporate money, such as the Green Party, or people like Bernie Sanders. 

It is difficult to corrupt a politician who takes no billionaire or corporate money 'bribes'. 

Bribery is illegal everywhere, except in the 'pay to play' US political arena, where the 1 percent and huge corporations pay to play a monopoly game that they rig, control and use to hijack democracy as well as the will of the people.

How does a corporate owned debate organization take over and hijack democracy? It's easy! Just privatize everything around elections and make sure that only corporate friendly presidential candidates get 'invited'. The corporate owned mass media gives way more FREE exposure to the 'winning' chosen candidate, who then pretends to be 'for the people', but just until he or she gets into office, and then that person votes for corporations, which put him or her into power. 


As just one example, no politician running inside of the Green Party is allowed to accept corporate money, so the views of the Green party reflect the views of average citizens, not faux people that are actually corporations. The solution is to VOTE, and to vote for a Green Party candidate, or any other political candidate that does not take corporate money.

Of course, voting by mail in the US can only be done in 27 states.

Why is it illegal to vote by mail in most US states? 

Why can't people vote via their social security number online, instantly? 

Why isn't everyone registered to vote the same day that they get a drivers license or official government ID?

Maybe someone does NOT want YOU to vote....

Maybe your vote is dangerous and those powerful interests only want your vote counted if it is in their favor.

In Roman times, sports and war were used to divide and conquer the population and keep the 1 percent in power and control. That same tactic still works today. SUMMARY


As long as the people can be misled by the corporate mass media 'news' and distracted with major sporting events/teams, and small groups can be 'blamed' for all of the ills of society, the 1 percent can keep on stealing the 99 percent blind in many ways, including stealing or rigging elections so that only corporate owned politicians are allowed in. The Romans used sports to distract people and then blame the ills of their society on various groups, which the army then went and took care of.

Of course, the warmongers and 1 percent worked together back then to dominate the world via an empire based on colonization and takeover of other countries, just like the US military complex is doing today.








































Small groups being 'blamed' for all of the ills in society today include; poor people, the homeless, the disabled, terrorists, environmentalists, union members, unions, old people collecting Social Security, etc..

There is a LONG list of those being blamed by the 1 percent, in order to distract people while they are raiding the public taxpayer coffers and making off with all of the loot.

The only way to save democracy is to root out the corruption which avalanches of money from huge corporations bring with them.

Rooting out corruption means not voting for anyone who accepts corporate or PAC money, or who is a billionaire.
