Censorship comes right before prison for those who are opposed to him, or being critical of him, just like in the former Soviet Union, now called Russia.

Yet Muscovites managed to do just that on Sunday, sharply reducing the presence of Vladimir Putin’s United Russia party in the city legislature; sending many of its top candidates to humiliating defeats; and delivering the biggest electoral shock in the Russian capital since the Democratic Russia bloc wiped out the Communist Party in the 1990 city council election. And the opposition pulled this off even though most of its candidates had been blocked from the ballot and could only contribute to the campaign through messages passed from their jail cells.

In Russia, if you dare to run against Putin, you either end up dead or in prison. Supposedly, Russia is a 'democratic' country, not a Communist one. Russia is ruled by billionaires, just like here in the US. Both countries could be called fascist, because that is the definition of a country ruled by corporations, and the billionaires that control them.

Trump was 'losing' people because of the freedom of the Internet, where anyone can say what they want. The Internet used to be a push back place against corruption, lies and deception. Trump does not like people disagreeing with him, so he stated that his goal was to shut down the last place where people could organize, tell the truth and push back against his absolute power grab. Trump succeeded in eliminating net neutrality, and the next step is to install censorship on the Internet in various ways.

The move to censor the Internet has already started, via a blacklist on any media outlet that disagreed with Trump on Youtube, which eliminated their advertising revenue. 

The elimination of traffic to sites that disagree with Trump has also been happening, via changed algorithms that direct traffic to certain sites and have certain results show up, but not others. Huge reductions in traffic have been noticed by sites that disagree with Trump. 

Of course, Trump loves sites like Fox News, Breitbart and far right, extremist sites, because they tend to just about always agree with whatever he says, and he agrees with and does whatever they say. 

William Miller "Trump apparently is going for some sort of record for lying while in office. As of mid-November, he had made 1,628 misleading or false statements in 298 days in office. That’s 5.5 false claims per day, according to a count kept by The Washington Post’s fact-checkers."

After Trump Seeks to Block Book, Publisher Hastens Release – The New York Times


WASHINGTON — President Trump threatened legal fire and fury on Thursday in an effort to block a new book portraying him as a volatile and ill-equipped chief executive, but the publisher defied his demand to halt its release and instead moved up its publication to Friday because of soaring interest.
Angry at the publisher’s refusal to back down, Mr. Trump took aim late Thursday night at the book’s author, Michael Wolff, and one of his primary sources, Stephen K. Bannon, the former White House chief strategist, whose derisive comments about the president and his family stirred deep resentment in the Oval Office.



The president’s blast at Mr. Wolff came at the end of a day in which Mr. Trump’s effort to stop publication failed. In an 11-page letter sent in the morning, a lawyer for the president said the book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” as excerpted in a magazine article, includes false statements about Mr. Trump that “give rise to claims for libel” that could result in “substantial monetary damages and punitive damages.”

Kristina Marzano Over dinner with an older friend recently, the discussion came up about the NFL players kneeling during the national anthem. Doug and I talked about how the NFL players didn't come out during the anthem until the league was given money (from the Dept of "Defense") to do this as a recruitment tool. I also questioned why people were so worked up over non-issues like this with much more serious things going on. We started talking about things that concern us, most of which my older friend wasn't even aware of. (He has cable TV and mostly watches Fox.) He asked where we hear about all of these things. We talked about our news sources which don't take money from corporations.

This got me thinking about the danger of ending net neutrality. Anyone who pays for cable or satellite TV doesn't have a choice of channels. There is the illusion of choice, with various packages you can subscribe to-- and notice they always include Fox, CNN, and probably MSNBC which is owned by Comcast (which explains why they didn't cover net neutrality very well; like Verizon, Comcast stands to gain with the end of net neutrality). All of the "news" sources with typical cable and satellite packages are corporate owned and the content favors what the corporations want you to know and think.




The end of net neutrality will further restrict access to non-corporate sources (except for those with money, who can afford unlimited access, the same way the wealthy can get all the health care they want and need) and dissent will be crushed even further."

CDC BANNED FROM USING ‘EVIDENCE-BASED’ AND ‘SCIENCE-BASED’ ON OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS: REPORT
The Trump administration has reportedly banned the Centers for Disease Control from using the phrases “evidence-based” and “science-based” on official documents.

Senior CDC officials distributed the list of “forbidden” words and phrases to policy analysts at the CDC on Thursday, the Washington Post reported Friday. The list also bans the use of “vulnerable,” “entitlement,” “diversity,” “transgender” and “fetus.”

Analysts are reportedly prohibited from using the phrases on official documents they prepare for the 2019 budget, which is expected to be released in February.

Donald Trump Jr. managed to spread some fake news Thursday on Twitter.

The president’s son used the platform to criticize supporters of net neutrality after the Federal Communications Commission repealed the Title II protections that kept the internet a public utility. Unfortunately, Trump Jr. doesn’t seem to have all the facts in order.

“I would pay good money to see all those people complaining about Obama’s FCC chairman voting to repeal #NetNeutality actually explain it in detail,” Trump Jr. wrote. “I’d also bet most hadn’t heard of it before this week. #outrage.”

In fact, President Donald Trump designated Ajit Pai the FCC chairman in January. Former President Barack Obama appointed Pai to a five-year term on the commission in 2012, but Democrats fought against his term’s renewal last year. The commission voted to repeal the net neutrality protections in a 3-2 vote, with Pai voting in the majority.

Yes, Obama shares the blame because he appointed Pai to the commission, but then Trump upped the game and designated him to the Chair of the committee, making him the effective leader. Bottom line, as long as corporations can bribe, buy off, and control Congress, Senate and the White House, things will only get worse, not better, no matter who is in office.

Yonatan Zunger, a former Google employee, recently retweeted Khanna’s tweet, adding: “This isn’t even the worst part of ending net neutrality. The worst part happens when ISPs say ‘we don’t like this site’s politics,’ or ‘this site competes with us,’ and block or throttle it.”


Thanks to Trump and Ajit Pai, this is now coming to America. Expect a $100 per month bill to get access to what is now free.

Eric R Jones Are you aware that this repeal includes language that say individual states aren't allowed to enact legislation to set up state by state laws protecting net neutrality? Isn't it funny how the party that pretends to champion state's rights is the one suddenly saying that states can't do that? Internet luminaries, including “father of the internet” Vint Cerf and Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, have a blistering message for the Federal Communications Commission as its vote on net neutrality looms: “You don’t understand how the internet works.”

In an open letter published Monday, more than 20 industry leaders and pioneers skewered the FCC over its plan to repeal net neutrality rules, which require internet service providers (ISPs) to treat all content equally.

“It is important to understand that the FCC’s proposed Order is based on a flawed and factually inaccurate understanding of Internet technology,” the letter, addressed to lawmakers with oversight of the FCC, reads. “These flaws and inaccuracies were documented in detail in a 43-page-long joint comment signed by over 200 of the most prominent Internet pioneers and engineers and submitted to the FCC on July 17, 2017. Despite this comment, the FCC did not correct its misunderstandings.”

Trump FCC chair Ajit Pai sided with his former bosses at Verizon over the millions of people demanding that net neutrality rules stay in place.

But if he thinks we're done fighting to save the free and open internet, he's dead wrong.

Congress has the power to overturn Pai's repeal of net neutrality, and we're leading the charge to make sure that our representatives step in—starting by driving hundreds of thousands of calls to Congress to demand that the FCC vote be overturned.And for the members of Congress who stand with Comcast and against their constituents, we'll make sure the voters back home know about it.

After working so long and hard for net neutrality, today's vote comes as a gut punch for all of us.

But we can't give up now, because there's simply too much at stake. The internet as we know it will disappear. Comcast, Verizon, and AT&T will be allowed to throttle internet speeds and force people to pay exorbitant premiums to stay off their "slow lane."

Startups and small businesses will be drowned out by billion-dollar corporations, and ISPs will be allowed to block sites altogether if they view them as competition or just disagree with their politics.1 Comcast could decide tomorrow to block access to Skype because it has its own video-chat client. Verizon could drop access to CNN in order to push viewers to Fox News.

Net neutrality isn't just about what we pay for the internet—it's about upholding our democratic society.

Ajit Pai may not care about the 22 million comments to the FCC that were overwhelmingly in favor of net neutrality, or the more than 700 protests across the country last week to stop the FCC's attack on the internet, or that 83% of Americans opposed his plan to repeal Title II.2 But if we take that outrage to Washington, D.C., we can force Congress to care.

Congress has the power to overturn the FCC vote, and we're going to make sure that our representatives stand up for net neutrality. Will you chip in $5?

Trump is the kind of person who wants absolute power and the absolute freedom to say what he wants to say, without anyone questioning him or disagreeing with him. Getting rid of net neutrality rules creates the environment where someone like Trump can eliminate anyone who disagrees with him.

Without equal access online, ISP giants Comcast, Charter, ATT, Verizon, Cox and others can establish toll roads or premium lanes, charge extra for speed and free and easy access, control content, as well as stifle dissent and independent thought.

They can make Internet access unaffordable for low income households, control what’s available online, block content diverging from the official narrative at their discretion.

They can transform the Internet into another corporate-controlled swamp of disinformation and fake news, matching the rubbish major media provide, a deplorable prospect.

FCC ACCUSED OF USING FAKE COMMENTS TO REPEAL NET NEUTRALITY
Yesterday, New York State’s Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman, released an open letter through the online publishing platform Medium. The letter was addressed to the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Chair, Ajit Pai, and accused him and the FCC’s staff of using fraudulent comments to support its end run on net neutrality.

It’s a common practice of the Trump administration to solicit negative comments on regulations and then use those comments to justify gutting those regulations. For instance, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under Scott Pruitt has used adversarial comments against the Clean Air Act to dismantle and kill those regulations. Here’s an example.

So, when Chairman Pai of the FCC wanted to dismantle the net neutrality regulations that prevent internet service providers from getting to pick and chose which websites get the best service (fastest speed), he solicited comments from the public. This request would seem like a purely democratic way of determining what the American people wanted…if the comments were actually sent by consumers. According to AG Schneiderman though, thousands of those American consumers who wrote to the FCC and expressed their support of Chairman Pai’s preference to kill net neutrality were actually fake.

AG Schneiderman’s office has apparently been investigating this fraud for the last 6 months and described it as a “massive scheme.”

When lies and liars are lifted up and promoted, but truth tellers and those protecting civil rights, democracy and freedoms are denied, squashed, and suppressed, what kind of government do you believe this creates?

TIM KARR: This is one of the most extreme proposals we’ve seen this FCC, which is saying a lot, because there have been a number of very extreme proposals over the last six months including efforts to roll back broadband subsidies for working families, efforts to knock away media ownership rules that would allow a company like Sinclair to control local television. This goes even further. It takes away the essential protection that Internet users have to ensure that their online connections aren’t blocked, aren’t throttled, or that their communications aren’t censored in any way.

I mean, really what this is about is the future of communications. The internet is remarkable because it puts that control, the control over media in the hands of internet users. What Ajit Pai is proposing to do is take that away from internet users and hand it to a handful of companies, companies like AT&T, Comcast, and Verizon, who have designs on the Internet that are not in the best interest of people like you and me.

The people dismantling democracy, freedom and civil rights one brick at a time, have names, faces and jobs..

THE US IS OPERATING UNDER A REPUBLICAN FASCIST REGIME, WITH AN AUTHORITARIAN, DICTATORIAL STRONGMAN DRIVING THE 1 PERCENT AGENDA


Greg Moore If any American is unsure of what kind of government is running the country, it is no longer ridiculous rhetoric to say the country is under a fascist Republican regime with an authoritarian strongman/dictator driving the agenda. For those who may have only heard the word “fascism” but have no clue what it means, you’re all idiots who didn’t pay attention in junior or senior high school history classes. Fascism is what Trump was selling throughout the presidential campaign and is implementing now according to the dictionary definition.

Fascists believe democracy is obsolete, and regard the complete mobilization of society under a totalitarian one-party state with a dictator as necessary to its survival. Fascism also rejects the idea that violence is negative and views political violence against one’s enemies at home as the only means to achieve national unity and rejuvenation. America is under a fascist regime.

As history shows, fascist regimes also severely punish dissent, reject the concept of universal freedoms, free and fair elections, and demand strict loyalty and compliance without question. As notorious fascist dictator Benito Mussolini said, “Italy wants peace and quiet, work and calm. I will give these things with love if possible and with force if necessary.”

Just substitute “Italy” with “America” and the quote could have come from lying fascist Trump. Part of Mussolini’s tactics, like Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, East Germany, and the Soviet Union, was stomping out dissent whether it was an “unflattering media” or peaceable assembly to air grievance (protests); something the American fascists will severely punish.

As of Wednesday, there were 10 Republican states introducing legislation to criminalize peaceful protests despite the 1st Amendment’s guarantee that all Americans have the right to “peaceably assemble to express their grievances.” Not only are those kinds of laws unconstitutional, they are precisely fascist as in the exact same laws were enacted in Nazi Germany, Iraq und Hussein, Communist East Germany, the former Soviet Union and every other fascist dictatorship in the modern era.

The fascists in the. White House also laid down some Nazi censorship on scientists at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that forbids the scientists from releasing any empirical data on the fate of the globe due to rising temperatures. All scientific research results will have to go through a Trump-appointed censor who will decide if the empirical data comports with the Trump-Koch oil industry agenda. It is no stretch to claim beforehand that any Trump appointee will be an oil industry puppet. If any American needs proof the “science censors” will not be oil advocates just reflect on oil industry puppet who Trump appointed to “run” the EPA – right into obscurity.

In North Dakota, a Republican-proposed law allows motorists to legally run over people they think are protestors with legal impunity if they claim it was an accident. It is another fascist move by another fascist Republican that will not indulge or tolerate facts or opinions contrary to the fascists running the government. In the case of running over Native Americans protesting destructive pipelines, it is no stretch to believe the oil industry will put out a bounty on protestors; something Republicans may even proffer as an incentive.

All of these atrocities are, although seemingly isolated to the officials running the fascist cabal, spreading across the country among Trump’s fascist supporters. For example, in Pennsylvania this week a restaurant owner and Trump supporter ejected an African American college basketball player and his party and told them, “Trump’s president now so I can say what I want. You niggers need to get out. I own three restaurants and I don’t need you niggers’ money.” The young athlete and his party were in the midst of enjoying their dinner when the restaurant owner took note that they were not white and invoked “the Trump” prior to acting like it was 1950. This reference to “Trump’s president now” is being heard more often and it always accompanies some kind of bigoted remark.

In public libraries across the nation, the Trump-incited Islamophobia emboldened fascist religious bigots to scrawl obscenities and deface any publicly-owned library book about or referring to Islam. Using obscenities, drawing Nazi swastikas, racial slurs and all manner of other obscene comments only began after the Trump lost the popular vote only to become the fascist now occupying the White House.

On Saturday during the tremendous Women’s March, this author heard a group of white trash Trump supporters complaining about “that damn Constitution” people think gives them a right to protest. They were furious that Trump didn’t make an “executive law” at the inauguration letting real Americans “mow those communists” (protestors) down and give them an “American dose of lead poisoning;” a reference to shooting them en masse.

Trump’s threat to send in “the feds” to take care of violence in Chicago was, as Hrafnkell Haraldsson reported, a direct threat and attack against the African American community. It is particularly worrisome because Trump subscribes to the police union activists that want racial profiling legalized nationwide and military hardware to aid in “profiling those people.”

This particular threat is not unlike the tactics of Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte whom Trump respects because he boasts about summarily executing over 5,000 citizens he “suspected” of being drug dealers. A tactic Trump praised as the right way to run a country and is a strong hint of what his ‘plan’ for sending the feds to Chicago entails.

Trump’s executive orders on immigration fundamentally “nationalize” all state, county and local police as an “immigration special force” to hunt down “suspected” undocumented immigrants. One of Trump’s orders even targets so-called “sanctuary cities” for pecuniary punishment because they are “sanctuary cities” and cling to the idea that American exceptionalism was always about open borders and embracing immigrants.

All of these Trump-Republican tactics are naked fascism and nothing else. Add to the above mentioned Hitler-like tactics Trump’s assault on the press, and the warning(s) “they’re going to pay a big price” for reporting the factual truth. and there is little left to conclude that despite a 239 year-old Constitution mandating America as a representative democracy, Donald J. Trump and his Republican facilitators are establishing an honest-to-dog fascist regime in what is rapidly becoming a third-rate banana republic; or what Trump contends is making America great."

Breaking news: in an historic victory of global importance, the US Federal Communications Commission just passed rock solid rules to ensure the Internet stays open and free...

Big Cable TV and Internet companies have spent millions of dollars to push “Internet slow lanes” that would let them charge us more money to use the Internet, and control what we could access. But after millions of public comments, emails, phone calls, and demonstrationsacross the country -- loads of it driven by SumOfUs members -- the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has just said an emphatic “no” to a corporate-controlled Internet, and committed to protect Net Neutrality.

With so many websites based in the US, free and open Internet around the world was at stake. This victory will have a lasting impact towards protecting free speech and social movements across the globe. And that is worth celebrating.

Big telecom corporations like Verizon and Comcast are already working with conservatives in the US Congress to try and undermine our win. We need to be ready to put the pressure on again in the coming months to make sure we don’t lose an inch of our progress.

Up against corporate millions, this decision to protect Net Neutrality is a massive victory for citizen campaigning. Thanks to all of us, we can finally say 2015 was the year we won Net Neutrality. Let’s keep working together to make sure it stays that way.

CORRUPTED FCC PUBLIC COMMENT PROCESS IGNORED AND DENIED

FCC REPEALS TITLE II NET NEUTRALITY PROTECTIONS AMID UPROAR – THE FCC IGNORED 18 STATE ATTORNEYS GENERAL WHO ASKED THAT THE VOTE BE DELAYED FOR AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE “CORRUPTED” PUBLIC COMMENT PROCESS.
Last week, Comcast quietly altered a net neutrality pledge that had been on its website since 2014, removing a promise that it wouldn’t “prioritize internet traffic or create paid fast lanes” and replacing it with a much more cautious pledge to “not block, throttle, or discriminate against lawful content.” If Comcast decides on a whim to change its pledge again next week, it absolutely can.

In addition to repealing net neutrality, the new FCC rules also strip state and local governments of the power to enact their own laws regulating broadband service.

That provision alarmed a group of nearly five dozen mayors from across the political spectrum, who signed a public letter last week slamming the FCC’s actions as a “stark, inexplicable, and unwarranted attack on the constitutional principles that lie at the heart of our system of government.”

FCC GETTING RID OF NET NEUTRALITY IS AN ATTACK ON FREEDOM AND CONSTITUTIONAL PRINCIPLES THAT ARE THE FOUNDATION STONE OF AMERICAN CORE VALUES

HERE’S HOW MUCH TELECOM INDUSTRY GAVE EACH REPUBLICAN WHO URGED FCC TO END NET NEUTRALITY
While Democrats have been united in their opposition to Pai’s plan, net neutrality hasn’t been among the top issues Republicans have been talking about for the past year. Few have offered much more than tacit support for Trump’s plan to hand the keys to the internet over to broadband owners. On the eve of the FCC’s vote, however, 107 GOP members of congress came out of the shadows and sent a letter to Ajit Pai offering their full support for the controversial move.

TeleCom providers like Comcast and AT&T have lobbied hard against net neutrality for months, and Republicans in congress have been particularly receptive to their overtures. Kaleigh Rogers and Jason Koebler at Vice News just revealed how receptive they have been.

They’ve documented how much in “donations” 84 of those members have received from TeleCom industry giants. Here’s their entire list:

SAY GOODBYE TO NET NEUTRALITY. SAY HELLO TO THE FCC’S TRICKLE-DOWN EXPERIMENT
The FCC’s agenda may be good news for the class of mostly white men who own big telecom companies and broadcasting stations and are eager to consolidate their control over the media landscape. Consider Sinclair Broadcast Group, the TV broadcasting giant that reportedly “struck a deal” with the Trump campaign for favorable coverage and has since seen regulatory hurdles standing in the way of a proposed merger with Tribune Media cleared by Pai and the FCC.

Sinclair is known for pushing a conservative agenda and could soon reach 72 percent of local TV viewers nationwide if the merger is approved.

“To some extent Trump TV already exists; it’s just going to be Trump TV on steroids,” Tim Karr, spokesperson for the digital rights group Free Press, said of Sinclair in an interview.

Pai has been talking about killing the FCC’s historic net neutrality rules since they were established in 2015 (well before his appointment as chairman).

Fight back. Resist. Trump thinks that this is all funny, and that he will 'win' his bid to gain absolute power and control of both the Internet and mass media, via many actions that he is taking right now.

Germany did not lose all of it's freedoms and democracy overnight. Freedoms and democracy was lost under Hitler because people did not stand up and resist. Slowly but surely, Hitler turned the screws little by little, eliminating freedom and democracy  little by little until it was too late.

The crazy comes so fast and furious these days, it’s easy to forget some of the smaller brushfires — like the one President Trump lit at the end of November when he retweeted three false and “inflammatory” videos about Muslims that he found on the Twitter feed of the leader of a British ultra-nationalist group.

The president’s next move in the international arena — his “recognition” of Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Israel — hasn’t yet slipped from memory, in part because of the outrage it evoked around the world. As Moustafa Bayoumi, acclaimed author of How Does It Feel to be a Problem? Being Young and Arab in America, wrote in the Guardian, “The entire Middle East, from Palestine to Yemen, appears set to burst into flames after this week.” Not surprisingly, his prediction has already begun to come true with demonstrations in the West Bank, Gaza, and Lebanon, where U.S. flags and posters of President Trump were set alight. We’ve also seen the first rockets fired from Gaza into Israel and the predictable reprisal Israeli air attacks.

FOX NEWS AND DONALD TRUMP ARE IN A FEEDBACK LOOP THAT THREATENS TO BLOW UP THE REPUBLIC

On Sunday night, “Judge” Jeanine Pirro flipped the American justice system upside down. She declared FBI Agent Peter Strzok “a button man in the crime family of James Comey.” According to Piro, Strzok was everywhere—from hiding all incriminating information about Hillary Clinton’s email, to commissioning the Trump dossier, “the one bought and paid for by the Clinton team.” Then Pirro went on to declare FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe the “consigliere” of this FBI-Justice Department mafia. Following these accusations, Pirro demanded again that the whole team—presumably meaning both the FBI and the special counsel—be “led out in cuffs.”

The team that Pirro is attacking includes the agents and lawyers who successfully infiltrated, took apart, tried, and destroyed the largest Mafia families in the nation. It was Comey who took on the Gambino crime family and secured 14 murder indictments. Mueller who went after John Gotti. Andrew McCabe actually headed up the FBI’s efforts against organized crime and started his career as a special agent working against the mob. Lisa Page, who Pirro sneeringly reduced to the role of “mistress” and “gumade,” previously worked as a trial attorney in the Organized Crime Section of the Justice Department, and has deep experience taking down crime bosses from Eastern Europe—including some connected to Paul Manafort.

On the other hand, Jeanine Pirro’s legal experience comes from being a county court judge over two decades ago. She’s also a failed candidate for lieutenant governor, a failed candidate for Senate, and a failed candidate for New York State attorney general. Her elevation to the limelight came during the O. J. Simpson trial, when she became a go-to TV face from the simple coincidence that she had been involved with a case where a rich husband killed his estranged wife. And … that’s it. Her experience with the Mafia runs exactly as deep as her Netflix queue.

The astounding attack on the justice system might be easy to write off as just one more right-wing rant in an age where right-wing rants have become more common than grains of sand on a beach. But where Pirro was conducting her attack on Comey, McCabe, Mueller, Strzok, Page and others makes this far more critical than the latest lizardman threat on InfoWars.

Because Pirro is talking on Fox News. Which is increasingly working not just as the official propaganda arm of the Trump White House, but serving to both amplify Trump’s policies and corrode democracy. And it’s getting worse.

Fox News has become a 24-hour propaganda arm of the Trump White House. The only thing controversial about that statement is the phrase “has become,” as it implies this was not always true.

HUGE CORPORATIONS THAT WILL BENEFIT VIA HIGHER PROFITS ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT IT, AND NOT ALLOWING DEBATE ON THEIR NEWS NETWORKS

When you put the fox in charge of guarding the hen house, would it be surprising to find chickens and eggs missing? 

STUDY SHOWS CORPORATE CABLE NETWORKS LARGELY IGNORING FCC PLAN TO KILL NET NEUTRALITY
Of all the major corporate networks Media Matters examined, MSNBC devoted far and away the most coverage to the FCC’s “scorched-earth” attack on the open internet.

“In the wake of the breaking news, MSNBC represented 90 percent of all cable coverage” of net neutrality, the study found.

Media Matters goes on to observe that both NBC—which “has not covered net neutrality at all”—and MSNBC are both “owned by internet service provider Comcast, which stands to benefit from the repeal.”
