The utility company is disputing the above version of events and claims that the #4 spent fuel pool in question was in good condition, and that nothing burned or melted down in it. TECPO claims only a 10% of Chernobyl radiation release total from the entire Fukushima complex of multiple reactors and associated spent fuel pools.

TEPCO AND THE NUCLEAR INDUSTRY VERSION OF THE STORY


True journalism is about telling BOTH sides of the story. The mass media only tells one side, as follows.

TEPCO claims that nothing happened at building 4. They claim that the reactor was empty, and that spent fuel pool did not boil enough to uncover any fuel rods, so no radiation was released and nothing melted, plus nothing dangerous exploded. They claim that a fire in the building was just some miscellaneous oil filled equipment burning, but they have no pictures and no proof to offer for any of this, as it was happening.

Also, TEPCO claims that building 4 just exploded for no reason at all, due to building 3 exploding next to it. TEPCO claims that all of these explosions were due to hydrogen gas, and nothing else. As incredible as these PR spinning deceptions sound, most people believe them blindly and trust the nuclear industry, because the mass media never went any deeper and never investigated any of these claims to see if they were even true.

The problem with a huge corporate nuclear monopoly as it exists in Japan and the US, is that the mass media is held captive and will only report what they are told by their corporate 'master', due to the threat of pulling all advertising dollars if they don't 'toe the line'.

Most large mass media outlets will not even report on what happens if spent fuel pools dry out for whatever reason. Since there is no permanent storage method for these highly radioactive, heavy metal poisons, nuclear plants are packing these rods in tighter and tighter, into small spent fuel pools not designed to handle this large amount of radioactive garbage.

WHAT HAPPENS TO ANY SPENT FUEL POOL AT ANY NUCLEAR POWER PLANT IF IT LOSES IT'S MECHANICAL COOLING SYSTEM AND IT CONTAINS 'HOT' SPENT FUEL?


What happens when a spent fuel pool at a nuclear plant loses all cooling and it contains 'hot' spent fuel? First, the water gets hot, starts boiling and then steams away until the fuel rods are exposed above the water.

Then the spent fuel rods get so hot that the zirconium cladding spontaneously catches on fire and the fuel rods burn. The fuel rod pellets then fall out of the fuel rod cases and collect in piles at the bottom of the pool where they can melt and fission, despite being underwater. With enough time and if the pile gets big enough the corium can and does melt out of the spent fuel pool. Or the corium can go critical, as it did with building 3, and explode, given the right set of circumstances.  

This article provides the proof that these things indeed happened at least twice at different spent fuel pools at Fukushima Daichi complex of six nuclear reactors, each having a spent fuel pool attached to them, in 2011.

"March 15, 2011 - Yesterday the spent fuel rod pool at Fukushima Daiichi reactor 4 caught fire. About that time instruments at the plant showed an exponential increase in radiation levels. After the fire was quenched, radiation levels fell. In the hour before I sat down to write this, there was an explosion at the same spent fuel rod pool. As I write, another fire is burning there. NHK reports the radiation level – 300 to 400 milliSieverts – is so high that firefighters cannot approach the area."

Kevin reports on explosion at unit 4 plus a fire. At 1:34 in, you can see the glow of a fire at building 4. At 4 min. in, Dana shows video at night of building number 4 on fire, with smoke coming out of it. At 6 min. in, question is asked; do we cover this up, deny it happened, or ?????. In order to prevent a panic, the decision was made at high levels, to cover it all up and deny anything bad happened.

At 7 min. in, the news caster reports that radiation from unit 2, (but not any others) went all around the world, with an animated graphic showing how that worked.

At 8 min. to 14 min. in, Dana and MIT talks about the other reactors and what happened to them..

Dana then goes into how TEPCO covered up what happened at building 4. In pictures taken after the disaster site was stabilized, the whole site looks sanitary, neat and pretty much as if nothing happened to it. How does one go from completely destroyed and melted down reactors to a nice and neat site that is just being 'decommissioned'?

TEPCO claims that no spent fuel was damaged, caught on fire or melted in the 3/11 mega nuclear disaster. They claim that the only fire at unit 4 was an oil related fire, and that building 4 exploded due to building 3 exploding, but it was only harmless hydrogen, which is a lie all by itself.

Tepco claims that all spent fuel rods were successfully pulled out of the #4 spent fuel pool as of Dec. 22, 2014 and that they were all whole, complete and in good shape, since this is what is required to pull them all out successfully. . It sounds like this was just an ordinary unloading, and it was successfully completed, in a normal decommissioning manner. What is the REAL story, as opposed to this fairy tale?

But what about the following picture, showing melted fuel rods, burning in a corium pile at the bottom of the pool?

What happened to that corium? Why is it not being mentioned?

The above picture is from spent fuel pool #4, showing an underwater uncontrolled criticality event happening. Water does not quench a nuclear corium fire. As a matter of fact, water acts as a 'reflector' for a nuclear fire, making it even worse and bigger.

According to a Blue Ribbon Commission report, SFP #4 contains 1,535 fuel assemblies. A fuel assembly contains approximately 100 fuel rods. The total equivalent number of fuel rods contained within 1,535 fuel assemblies totals almost 145,000.

What happened as they 'unloaded' all of these perfect spent fuel rods and transferred them to the Common Spent Fuel Pool building?

AFTER 3 REACTORS MELTED DOWN/OUT, 2 SPENT FUEL POOLS MELTED OUT, AND #3 SUFFERED FROM MULTIPLE MOX FUEL EXPLOSIONS, WHAT IS LEFT?


Tepco has burned and melted a large number of highly radioactive nuclear fuel rods due to fires and/or explosions within the melted down reactors and spent fuel pools at Fukushima Daichi. How many fuel rods are left over after all of the melt downs, melt throughs, fires and explosions?

No one seems interested in finding out, because this would be a good way of finding out what was released. Of course, TEPCO is sticking with the absurd claim that Fukushima is only 10% of Chernobyl, despite three reactors melting down and out, plus multiple spent fuel pool fires and confirmed melt outs.

TEPCO is not giving out ANY information about all of this. TEPCO is covering this whole mega nuclear disaster up. They do not talk about the loss of ANY reactor core fuel rods, despite admitting 3 core melt downs. They do not talk about the loss of ANY spent fuel pool rods or spent fuel pool fires or melt outs.

The world may very have exceeded the amount of Plutonium coming out of the burned MOX fuel at Fukushima, with sufficient plutonium doses coming out of it to kill all life on this planet within 10 - 20 years. The latency period for inhaling plutonium is still running, so time will tell how many casualties Fukushima will be responsible for as the latency period clock runs out, and diseases, cancers plus other health issues start popping up with increasing frequency.

Let's compare the casualty numbers from Chernobyl and extrapolate what might happen due to Fukushima, shall we?

Cesium is a gas not a particle and can mimic potassium. plant and animals absorb potassium to grow. Potassium is fertilizer for plants so when it rains the rain drops catch the cesium from the air and wash it to the ground where plants absorb it. Rain will happen over time and animals will eat eat eat the plants like grass. We are at the top of the food chain so we get hit the hardest, even though we don't eat the grass. 

We are seeing rain from 2x above normal to 28,000x above normal radiation levels post fukushima. Potassium helps build musical in the human body so we absorb cesium thinking it is potassium.

The heart is a muscle, one that is essential to life and he only one that can't rep are its self. When a child with a small heart absorbs the cesium info there small heart it will damage the surrounding heart tissue, as the child grows so does the heart and so does the hole because it can't heal itself and its continually being radiated. There is no cure and many children suffer in chernobyl from this but its only one problem out of 2000."

After Chernobyl exploded and melted down, the government there ordered close to 1 MILLION people to work there, to try and prevent further disaster and to keep the ONE melted corium blob there from going down to groundwater, where it could explode and cause the entire continent to become unlivable, plus contaminating the whole globe much worse than it did anyway. Approximately 1 million people have died due to Chernobyl, from then up to approximately 2012.

At Fukushima, NOTHING was done to prevent multiple corium blobs from exiting the buildings and the spent fuel pools. They still do not know where the 'missing' coriums are. TEPCO and the nuclear industry are also actively covering up the melt out of at least one and possibly 2 spent fuel pools, plus the #3 plutonium MOX fuel explosion, and quite possibly more than that, but these events are documented on film and via pictures.

HOW BAD IS FUKUSHIMA COMPARED TO CHERNOBYL? 


Despite Fukushima potentially being an ELE global life extinction event,  no one even cares to find out how bad it really is, or where the coriums went, or how many fuel rods are left out of the total there before the disaster started, which would give an accurate measure of how REALLY BAD this disaster is. Instead, the focus seems to be on downplaying the mega disaster, minimizing everything, while denying 99% of what happened there.

The workers take weekends off, and there was NO EFFORT to keep the coriums from three reactors from breaching containment and then melting through into the ground, where they are more than like where they are located. There are a few hundred to a few thousand people working there a few days a week.

They both agree that Fukushima quite possibly may result in a life extinction event for the whole world, due to the cascading loss of all other nuclear plants and spent fuel pools on site as a result of this, with the subsequent release of MASSIVE amounts of radiation that will never end for thousands of years into the future. Even with #4 spent fuel pool emptied, this site still has that ELE potential, for other reasons.

TEPCO claims that all of these spent fuel rods were moved to the common spent fuel pool. The problem is not limited to (SFP #4). (SFP #4) is close to the common spent fuel pool, which contains approximately 600,000 fuel rods within the 6,375 fuel assemblies that it contains. 

TEPCO and the nuclear industry are also not  disclosing or talking about all of the other spent fuel pools or the other reactors at Fukushima Daichi, much less other nuclear power plants near this one, such as Fukushima Daini, which also partially melted down.

Again, this could be a 'best case' scenario that may very well not accurately reflect the actual situation of whatever remains of Spent Fuel Pool #4. Just reading the above summaries, without even going into the details, we can agree that SFP #4 had severe problems after the tsunami hit, from almost or completely running out of water, catching fire more than once, the equipment pool melting out, and finally building #4 experiencing a hydrogen explosion, or worse. TEPCO claims that the building never exploded, and it was the pipes from #3 that transferred explosive force into building #4, which made it explode.. Really?

Building #4 shows evidence of a corium event, as shown by the picture below. Again, TEPCO makes no mention of this, and denies any melt through happened ANYWHERE at Fukushima Daichi.

Many experts are trying to warn the world about the volatile situation at Fukushima, in order to bring to bear the world's resources on this pressing issue. 

So far, the US mass media has not talked about this situation, which means most people are largely in the dark about this dangerous and potential global life extinction situation. But a few people have been speaking out:

HOW DANGEROUS IS THE MOX PLUTONIUM FUEL THAT MELTED OUT OF FUKUSHIMA?


In regular uranium fuel rods, after they are burned in a reactor, about 5% of URANIUM 238/235 standard rod inside of any reactor turns into plutonium, so even these rods contain a substantial amount of plutonium once they are 'spent' or burned up and ready to take out of the reactor. So what is the danger of plutonium?

FUKUSHIMA MEGA NUCLEAR DISASTER IS JUST STARTING; HOW MANY CASUALTIES AND MASS DIE OFFS WILL IT CAUSE?


The amount of toxic, deadly dangerous plutonium, uranium, cesium, tritium and strontium that has been and is still being released from Fukushima to this day is MASSIVE and has never happened before in human history. The consequences are also unknown, since this has never happened in the entire history of the planet.

The radiation release amounts are ongoing, and this mega disaster is just STARTING, because TEPCO seems uninterested in stopping the massive flow of radioactive elements into the ocean via direct leaks from multiple reactor coriums. The radiation amounts that they are measuring just keep going up and up, getting worse and worse, but they refuse to do ANYTHING to stop this mega disaster.  

This is not the only life extinction threat faced by humanity. There is another disaster that is coming, and it has everything to do with the nuclear industry ignoring dangers, covering up accidents, and denying any significant radiation releases, through concerted efforts to cover up the dangers.

And if all of this is not bad enough, the nuclear industry combined with the bought off Japanese government wants to restart all of the 50 plus nuclear reactors. To do it, they will have to go naked, because they lost all insurance and cannot get anymore. How will they actually get away with restarting them, without any insurance to cover future nuclear disasters?

SUMMARY


At Fukushima, three fuel cores completely melted through the reactors and at least one spent fuel pool in building #4 melted out and ended up in the ground, plus another one at building #3. These melted out coriums are all constantly contaminating, groundwater, air and ocean water. They have been burning out of control since March 2011, until now. But this fact has also been completely covered up by both the nuclear industry and TEPCO specifically.

TEPCO SHOULD BE in panic mode and getting international help from many nations to deal with this mega nuclear crisis, that is ongoing even today.... but they act as if nothing unusual is happening at all. Oddly enough, they send everyone home on weekends, for vacation time, as if this were just a normal job.
