Nicole leads what she jokingly calls a “pretty crunchy” lifestyle. She grows her own organic vegetable garden, sticks to local and organic meat and limits the amount of processed foods in her pantry.

If you have a small crockpot you can combine the oil and garlic and set the crockpot on high for 30 minutes, then lower the temperature.
Allow the mixture to sit for 30 minutes. The longer you let the mixture sit, the stronger the infusion will be. Strain just how much you need and allow the rest of the mixture to continue soaking overnight.

First, test the temperature of the oil by placing a small drop on the inside of your wrist.
