Jay Cullen And Ken Buesseler claim that Fukushima that the radiation from that nuclear disaster is of no consequence and Jay states that nothing bad happened. They both compare the heavy metal radioactive poisons being dumped out of Fukushima into the Pacific ocean to bananas, xrays and airline flights. Is that a fair comparison? How can anyone get away with comparing 1,000 POISONS to bananas or sunshine?

Considering the fact that ocean creatures are sucking and absorbing these 'nutrient's' out of the ocean all of the way from Japan to the west coast, this information is really terrifying.

Why can't Ken Buesseler, Jay Cullen and WHOI seem to find any radiation from Fukushima in anything, anywhere? Why are they both saying that even if they find a low level of radiation in ocean water, that it cannot cause any harm?

Back in the 70's Woods Hole actually did some really good work and found radiation in starfish.. GASP! They TESTED SEA ANIMALS back then. The shock and horror of it.. Who would think to test sea animals or vegetation IN the ocean for heavy metal poisons or radiation nowadays?

Why can't they seem to test hundreds of thousands of critters, algae all the way to the top predators at the top of the food chain nowadays?

Every nuclear radiation expert worth anything knows that all living things concentrate and accumulate man made heavy metal radioactive poisons and pass them up the food chain in the same way that DDT travels up the food chain in the graphic above. What Jay Cullen failed to mention to the Toronto-based Global and Mail is that the 630,000 dollar grant to his inFORM project came from the MEOPAR foundation, whose Board chairman is Robert Walker, former CEO and President of Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd. (AECL). The federal Crown corporation is Canada’s largest nuclear laboratory, which developed the CANDU reactors and was the wartime uranium-supplier for the Manhattan Project, which built and detonated the world’s first atomic bombs.

The Pentagon links to AECL were revealed early-on, in December 1952, when the NRX reactor at AECL’s Chalk River lab suffered a partial meltdown in the world’s first major nuclear accident. One of the American naval officers dispatched to Chalk River by then-Captain Hyman Rickover, founder of the U.S. nuclear fleet, was Lt. Jimmy Carter. His assignment was to enter and inspect the damaged reactor building, and this is the probable cause for his struggles with cancer. The nuclear industry, which has shown no regrets about harming a president, certainly has nothing but contempt for ordinary citizens.

Before his appointment at Victoria, Cullen was a postgraduate researcher at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), where obviously he was inducted into the radiation cover-up operation by Ken Buesseler. Woods Hole provide civilian cover for the U.S. Office of Naval Research (ONR), the marine component of DARPA. WHOI got its start during World War II with its development of sonar, needed to detect and target German U-boats and Japanese submarines. Sonar invention was a crash program for the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), which later created the CIA.

The purpose of all living things below fish size is to remove nutrients (and heavy metal radioactive poisons) from the water, which they then concentrate. It makes radiation easy to find in creatures, but hard to find in water, because these creatures do such a good job of sucking it all up and removing it from the water. So why test the water, which is being 'cleaned' of all of the baddies, unless your motive is to not find anything?

The news may not be so good, if and when WHOI starts testing the food chain all the way up to humans. But that kind of testing is NOT ALLOWED ANYMORE, and anyone daring to do that is fired or let go, plus blacklisted in the industry. The nuclear cabal cannot have people that they are funding finding out the truth these days. Truth is forbidden as is mentioning the R word. 

Dr. Gofman used to work inside the nuclear industry, but when he started talking about how lethal radiation was at low doses, he was 'let go', and then blacklisted by the industry. This is what happens to anyone who DARES to speak anything negative about the nuclear cabal, and WHOI knows this, as does Jay Cullen.

Even if the government did pay for testing ocean water for radiation, it is not the best thing to test for radiation. Seaweed, fish, mollusks and bottom living organisms are much better things to test because they bio concentrate and bio accumulate radioactive elements. Even finding radiation in the ocean tells the public and health professionals nothing about how that radiation is traveling up the food chain.

Wouldn't it make sense to test the vegetation and animals where radiation can easily be found, as it bioaccumulates and biomagnifies, rather than where it is the most difficult and most expensive to find, in ocean water? Their research results and the things that they study have to end up doing no harm to the nuclear industry. What does a truly impartial and neutral plus scientific lab look like? Here is just one of a very few examples... and they don't get a dime from the nuclear industry, unlike WHOI and Jay Cullen. 

But if doing things that make sense and finding the truth is not the object, then why bother telling the truth either? After all, it either makes sense and one is seeking truth, or the opposite, right? Besides WHOI, there are MANY other nuclear labs, the EPA and FDA. All of these, plus Woods Hole have funds and very expensive radiation testing equipment in dozens of labs that can test food, liquids, and give whole body radiation scans to children, as well as testing ocean living creatures and algae for radiation.

 What else are they spending all of their existing funds on, if not this kind of thing? Wouldn't you think that testing for radiation in foods, animals, vegetables, fruits and sea creatures would be the highest thing on their priority list too, seeing that Fukushima is the biggest mega nuclear disaster in history? Why is Fukushima not even a subject worth researching and talking about?

Third; 

Ocean water is the WORST thing to test, because it has the lowest and hardest to measure levels of anything radioactive in it. Ocean water was already tested and found to contain radiation in it; that is a FACT. Why would anyone have to test it some more?

Via Richard Wood "Reviewing Buesselers sample preparation methodology specific to this testing made me leery of his work results. The desiccation method he uses would effectively destroy the sample integrity and his procedures do not allow for the measurement of the elements lost in that preparation before it ever gets near the instrument.

Most of the energy signatures that would be found from this are alpha particles which I do not believe his test instruments are tuned to. Of overall note he does not discuss or draw out decay elements that are the signature or fingerprint of each and every nuclear event on the planet.

There are elemental isotopes that are deadly secret and can not be talked about. I am tired of not hearing of these deadliest of elements that were and are being released from Fukushima, like the Pu (plutonium) isotopes that may comprise up to 30% of the fissile material that is leaking into the air and ocean. NO OTHER MARINE RESEARCH ORGANIZATIONS GLOBALLY!

NO MEDICAL RESEARCHERS, NO HOSPITALS, NO NUCLEAR LABS...

It turns out that almost NO ONE is doing this kind of testing, in terms of scientists and biologists who are funded by huge foundations and government agencies. Why not? Why have they been historically ABSENT from any studies like this, historically at Chernobyl, TMI, and now  after Fukushima, the biggest mega nuclear disaster in history?

THE ONLY PERSON DOING ANY TESTING OF ACTUAL SEA LIFE IS DANA, AND HE WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH A CRIME FOR DOING IT, JUST LIKE THE ONLY RESEARCHER WAS AFTER CHERNOBYL


The ONLY person who seems to be doing ANY of this very needed research is Dana.. a citizen journalist and researcher. How sad and pathetic is this state of affairs, when the LARGEST, WORST radiation mega disaster in the history of humankind is minimized, denied, ignored and covered up by just about everyone in the scientific, government, nuclear industry, education and biology world? 

Why is it that the only person willing to do anything that will actually give some useful information about where this MASSIVE release of radiation is going and what effect it will have on the living web of life, is a private citizen who is disabled and living in a wheel chair? No wonder he is so upset... 

RESEARCH SHOULD BE FOCUSED ON PLUTONIUM, THE MOST DEADLY MAN MADE ELEMENTS OF ALL

Via Pu239 August 14, 2014 "Dana is right. I live about 100 paces (1 min. walk) from the ocean (Brentwood Bay, BC = Vancouver Island). Eerily quiet, almost no birds, little life on the shore. Some sick-looking moon-jellyfish, some sea lettuce. Very few seagulls, one or two crows. (We did see one seagull, mournfully staring at the mudflats – looking for somewhere to stick its beak, something to eat). Used to see stellars jays around here. Disappeared about three years ago and never seen them since."

obewanspeaks August 14, 2014 "Yes, exactly the same thing I witnessed in person in 2011 and 2012 along the California and Oregon coastlines. There was nothing alive anywhere.. I am afraid the HORROR has just begun and we really do need to shut this entire Nuclear Industry down while we still can via International Law~Worldwide! The Nuclear Industry is a piss poor jobs program..we must bury this Failed Nuclear Technology while we still can!"

Via uwantsun August 16, 2014 "Well, as a very longtime surfer in Ventura Calif I and others can definately tell you the following facts:

1. The gull and other bird species presence at the local surf breaks have diminished considerably. And on many days in a row, especially when the air is very wet, as we call it, with moisture, they are mostly gone. This is a massive change from before 2011, when these sea birds OWNED the beaches.

2. The sand, tide, and currents have changed, changing the surf breaks. This began to appear in late summer to early 2012. To the point with the state of calif. has been using dumptrucks to replace the sand and building small rock seawalls to contain the weird and NEW erosion patterns that had stayed mostly unchanged in the last 30 years of my being in these waters.

3. Also, we don't see as many dolphins as we used out in the lineup. Was a time, every weekend, you would see two or three pods a day swimming around the surfers outside, now, haven't seen any all year."

Via Crickets August 16, 2014 " I was born in California. I've lived most of my life within walking distance of the ocean. I've never seen sea life dying off like it has been lately. Starfish may have died off in the past, but not in the numbers we're seeing now. I have never seen massive schools of anchovies and other fish washing up on the shore like I've seen over the past few years. I've never heard of, or seen, sea mammals dying on the beaches like they have been dying lately. So don't try to downplay the significance of these events. You may find stories of these things happening before 3/11, but hasn't the world been a dump for nuclear waste and a testing ground for nuclear weapons for decades now? Perhaps it's only now we're seeing the cumulative affects of these atrocious events. Perhaps the more recent and much more serious nuclear meltdowns seen in FUKU, and the subsequent ongoing and uncontrolled release of radioactive water into the Pacific, and plume of radioactive particles that circle the globe as we speak are finally taking their toll."

After a year, the damage caused by the mixture of internal and external radiation to children should be measured, by comparison with data from before 2011 in the same areas, or by comparing data with communities further away, that were spared the radioactive fallout. Birthweight, incidence of stillbirth, perinatal mortality up to 28 days, birth deformities (heart problems should be investigated later), and among the genetic diseases, Down’s syndrome, should all be studied. Brain damage with tumours, and developmental retardation which, like decreases in IQ, will become evident at school age." Genetic mutations from radiation exposure are up to 100 times higher than anything we have encountered in the animal kingdom -Dr. Fernex, Former WHO Consultant"

WHAT KINDS OF SAMPLES TO TAKE IF YOU ARE GOING OUT AS CITIZEN INVESTIGATOR OR RESEARCHER


Especially if you find any dead creatures, take a tissue sample; liver, thyroid, heart, teeth, and bone. These types of things will be good samples to test for iodine, strontium, and cesium, which will be the easiest to find. Keep the samples separated, but you can collect thyroids from many animals and combine them together as an example.

Use an ice chest with dry ice, to freeze all samples, or regular ice sprinkled with salt to keep it colder, second best. Or dry the samples in a food drying machine and keep them safe for radiation testing later. 

Take plant and animal samples as a FIRST priority, because this is where the MOST and highest levels of bioaccumulated radiation will show up. Some animal species will have higher levels than others, but those on the bottom of the ocean and those in the tidal zone will end up with the highest levels, because that is where the radiation accumulates the most. 

The radiation will bio concentrate and bio magnify and show up in living creatures in the easiest to measure way, especially FILTER FEEDERS, starfish, and bottom feeders.. Even collecting ocean algae and plankton will work. Just freeze and dry them before testing. 

Freeze these samples in labelled baggies, and then dry out the samples later when you get ready to test them.. See if Arnie Gunderson Chris Busby or someone like him will do the tests for free with sensitive shielded testing equipment, such as the following....

HOW TO SET UP AN INDEPENDENT CITIZENS COMMUNITY BASED LABORATORY TO TEST FOOD, SEA CREATURES, ETC.

Any living cells will work, from algae to seals and everything in between... Be sure to DRY all samples before testing, because water is a good 'insulator' against radiation. Doing a 'wet' test is another trick that scientists use to minimize and deny all or most radiation in living things.

By doing 'wet' radiation measurements, rather than dry, it is much easier to cover up and deny the harmful effects of radiation on living things because the readings will come out much lower, as water blocks radiation. (This is why the nuclear industry uses water around nuclear fuel rods and inside nuclear reactors; because it shields radiation.) A sensitive pancake style Geiger counter will show something if levels are high enough, but they are not designed to detect radiation inside of people, animals or vegetables. 

Soil, mud and sand samples MAY show something. Mud will be the best to test, again after drying it out. But realize that these things are also going to be diffuse and diluted sources of radiation. This sampling should only be if one has time, energy and resources, AFTER testing all living things FIRST.

SUMMARY


Finally, why do ordinary people like Dana and AGRP have to the work that biologists and scientists are supposed to be doing? Why do whistleblower and investigative journalists have to muckrake this very sad situation which is present at nuclear labs, the EPA, the FDA and WHOI?  Who is going to order them to do their jobs, or lose all of their funding? Maybe it is time to give some money to the people who are actually doing the truth telling and research around Fukushima, rather than the opposite? After all, what do we have to fear, other than fear itself? What is the truth worth? Certainly we know what lying, cover ups, denial and deception is worth and what that money will buy.
