FBI ‘honors’ Martin Luther King Jr., 50 years after plotting to ‘neutralize’ him | The Grayzone
In the name of fighting communism, FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover ordered King and his Southern Christian Leadership Conference to be surveilled. The FBI placed dozens of microphones in places King frequented and wiretapped his phones, with the approval of Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy. In order to gauge “the communist influences upon him,” the FBI tracked “all instances of King’s travels and activities.”

When King was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in October 1964, the FBI was incensed. In an infamous November press conference, FBI Director Hoover slammed King as “the most notorious liar in the country.” Off the record, Hoover also called the civil rights icon “one of the lowest characters in the country.”

A few days after the press conference, the FBI sent King a chilling anonymous letter, blackmailing him and telling him to kill himself. The FBI called King an “evil, abnormal beast” and a “complete fraud and a great liability to” Black Americans. “Your end is approaching,” the FBI wrote, describing him as “not a leader but a dissolute, abnormal moral imbecile.”

WHAT ARE THE THREE WORST EVILS, ACCORDING TO MLK? 

This article dives into the greatest three evils that exist around the world today, according to MLK Jr.; 

Racism, 

Militarism, and 

Predatory Vulture Capitalism. 

This article defines, focuses on and gives examples of all three individually and shows why they are dark forces in society, which creates only darker things, as is happening today. 

Humanity is evolving and waking up. Part of the waking up process means dealing with the dark unconscious side. 

The US has not yet faced it's dark, deep seated, unconscious fear/hatred origin that has it's roots inside of unconscious Racism, Militarism, and Predatory Capitalism. The US has not healed this deep, dark, racist, white supremacist wound. 

Maybe now is a good time to go within and dive into the darkness, in order to shine a light on it, as the Germans did around Hitler, fascism and racism?

All healing begins on an individual level, by going inside and transforming darkness into the light of awareness, plus transmutation via love and forgiveness. 

The discussion of these three darkest evils and their unconscious dark origin within, should be taking place in schools, colleges and the mass media.... but it isn't, so the wounds cannot heal, and the darkness grows as more and more focus is on unconscious projected fear, hatred and rage.

More than 65 percent of the discretionary US budget is already being spent on the military, and now President Trump wants to increase that even more. Globally, only countries that have a dictator in charge spend this percentage of their budget on a military. In the US, this amount of money spent on killing people results in a permanent state of corporate FASCISM.

Since 2015, more money has been transferred from social programs to the military which now controls 65 percent of the budget. Only fascist dictatorships spend that much on their military. The highest rated democracies spend much, much less on their military.

What this policy of increased militarism and Fascism means for America is a spiritual DEATH, DECAY and SUFFERING.

Corporations plus the military industrial complex can get unlimited corporate welfare, entitlements and give aways. But if the ordinary person needs help or a community wants to develop a renewable energy supply, then there is not enough money. 

Healthcare is too expensive, despite being privatized. 

Housing the homeless is not possible because there is no money. 

Welfare, food stamps, housing vouchers and any other social safety net is being cut apart or axed, because there is no money.. 

Any yet, somehow, the military has plenty and is always asking for more. This is the essence of the problem with Capitalism and Fascism as well. Capitalism as well as Fascism, is all about GREED and ME, rather than about community and improving the general welfare of everyone, including not harming 7 future generations.

As of 2018, the percentage going to the privatized military industrial complex is now up to 65 percent, not counting costs for veterans healthcare, housing, education, etc. Add these things in and it goes up to 75 percent of the US budget going to the military.







































It is not the people who need help that are at fault, as Capitalists claim. 

There is plenty of money for war, but none for homeless people.

Bottom line, the odds are stacked against humanity, because the 1% has taken over many levers of power and control, and for selfish short term reasons of profit and power, they will not let the truth be known.

The answers are all there. We can switch off all carbon fuel sources via an emergency global Marshal Plan. We need to stop using all wood, oil, coal, gas, propane, natural gas, nuclear, diesel, and gasoline.


























The solution (if it is not too late already) is to implement and switch over to hydrogen powered everything, in addition to solar, wind, water, tides, waves, geothermal and other zero carbon fuels. 

We can do this as a global community. Even if the odds are stacked 100 to 1 against us, isn't it worth trying? Haven't you ever rooted for the underdog? Well, the underdog now is the whole world, and the evil, despicable people who are destroying the whole world and all life on it are only 1% of the total. So if the 99% really get mad and won't take it anymore, what chance have they got? Bottom line it is all up to us, you and me.

 What is the take away? Unless humanity stops the carbon monopoly from dominating the political landscape and figures out a way to make a huge, fast, paradigm shift away from carbon fuels and into carbon free renewables such as hydrogen, water, wind, geothermal and more, it looks like humanity is on a global suicide path. Instead of slowing down, the speed towards this suicide is increasing. There is still hope, but time is running out fast, and the odds of success are dropping by the day.

Something I see on a daily basis while moderating comments for our Facebook page is people who have either completely given up hope, or people who never had any in the first place. The sense seems to be that the issues we currently face are just ‘the way things are,’ and there’s nothing to we can do to change them.
It is much easier to place the blame on others for society’s ills than it is to look inside and see what we can do to actually make a difference. Most people are quick to blame, but unwilling to look at themselves and accept responsibility for their own actions and recognize that we are all ‘part of the problem.’

Mars is definitely not habitable by humans, and definitely not without regular support ships bringing in supplies, just like it is happening now for the International Space Station. Trying to visit or populate Mars while humanity is aggressively destroying the one true home we have, is not only foolish, it is betraying the only hope that humanity has. If humans cannot live and thrive in harmony with Nature on this planet, what hope do they have of pulling that off on another one? They will only mess that one up too.

Can humans at least grasp the concept of conserving the ONE home that future generations have to live in?

The carrying capacity of Earth is being exceed by 200 to 300 percent and getting worse by the day, because very little effort is being made to live in harmony with Earth's processes. Just like borrowing money from an empty bank account, this deficit 'spending' cannot continue on much longer. There is an end to it.

More than 100 companies have ended their membership in ALEC in recent years due to its climate change denial and support for extreme, right-wing legislation.3 We need strong and immediate grassroots pressure to make sure Enterprise reverses course and terminates its membership in ALEC.

Tell Enterprise Rent-A-Car: Stop funding the American Legislative Exchange Council.

Over the years, ALEC has worked to repeal clean energy laws, challenge Environmental Protection Agency regulations, support the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline and create fees for Americans who install solar panels on their own home. ALEC has also drafted model legislation that questions the scientific consensus on climate change, falsely claiming that there is “a great deal of scientific uncertainty.”4

Enterprise boasts in its 2015 sustainability report that it is “in a strong position to help drive sustainable travel solutions and policies around the globe” and that “customers and employees look to us to be responsible stewards of our business and the communities where we live and work.”5

In a statement to The Guardian, an Enterprise spokesperson claimed that the company’s “relationship with Alec is solely focused on the car rental excise tax issue.”6 But by joining ALEC as a paying member, Enterprise is financially supporting ALEC’s entire right-wing, anti-clean energy agenda.

They let us down historically over Iraq.
They apparently felt that Clinton’s emails were more important than Trump’s Russian mafia connections. They covered up FBI investigation of #Russiagate prior to election.
I was giving them a chance to recover – and they had hired some new reporters for for climate issues.
