" It has come to light that the prefectural government had secretly been holding “preparatory meetings” with the experts involved, prior to the committee meetings, in order to review the monitoring results which are open to public. In one preparatory meeting, the review committee members agreed on the analysis of the findings in advance, and signed off on a consensus that “the occurrence of cancer is not related to the nuclear power plant accident”.

A Fukushima Medical University professor answered by saying that the cancer is not considered a result of the nuclear accident, as in Chernobyl the increase in thyroid cancers was not found until four years after the accident. No other experts argued against this response. That day they discussed the very first incidence of thyroid cancer found through the thyroid check for all children.

On 3/23/2016, Kashiwa city government of Chiba announced 333 of 522 children were diagnosed as A2 ~ C in their thyroid test. This is the test result from 7/1/2015 to 2/29/2016.

306 children were categorized as A2 (cyst (smaller than 5.1 mm) or nodule (smaller than 20.1 mm) was found), 11 were categorized as B (cyst (larger than 5.1 mm) or nodule (larger than 20.1 mm) was found), and 16 were categorized as C (Follow-up test is required).

The local government states and testees are required to admit the test is not to evaluate the radiation effect on health after 311. Also, children who already have medical care for their thyroid problem were eliminated.

Bottom line, the number of children being affected is MUCH WORSE than the number above. In 2015, the numbers were in excess of 80 percent, and this percentage will only go up, not down. By excluding all of the children receiving medical care for their more advanced and serious thyroid cancers and confirmed thyroid problems, it skews the data downwards, making the situation seem much better than it is. Count on it getting worse from here, no matter what statistics they put out...

Nuclear 'experts' conclude that there is no problem with thyroid cancers or nodules anywhere in Japan, not even in Fukushima, and that Fukushima is just fine for children to live in. How does one get to that conclusion? Well, you manipulate the data to get the result you desire.

Of course, since the atomic bomb age and the exploding of 2,400 nuclear bombs all around the world, that health statistic has gradually gotten worse and worse. By 1975, 1 in 100 children had developed thyroid problems.

In a normal non radioactively contaminated population, less than 1 in 1 million children have thyroid problems, as long as there is enough iodine in the diet. The only exceptions to this were in iodine deficient areas, where people were not getting enough iodine and developing goiter, which is a disease caused by lack of iodine in the diet.  Basically, the rate of thyroid cancer was zero before the nuclear age.

NORMAL BASELINE KEEPS MOVING UP, IN NEVER ENDING FASHION, HIDING WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON; NORMALCY BIAS


Nowadays, the health authorities use the ever increasing worsening of health as the new 'normal'. Each year the baseline that the next year get compared to gets worse. There seems to be no limit on moving this baseline in a worse direction Certainly, around Fukushima and Chernobyl, there is no connection between the nuclear accidents and the worsening rate of thyroid problems. Some pro nuclear apologists will even go so far as to say that children's thyroid problems and cancer rates have always been like this.

"Thyroid nodules are uncommon in children before puberty (1.5% or less) (Kirkland et al. 1973, Rallison et al. 1975, Scott Crawford 1976, Yip et al. 1994, Millman Pellitteri 1997). Any nodule discovered in such an age group should therefore be viewed with suspicion and the diagnostic approach should be more aggressive in children than in adults (Scott; Crawford 1976, Silverman et al. 1979, Ridgway 1991) because they are more often malignant than in adults (Belfiore et al. 1989). The mean incidence of thyroid carcinomas in childhood thyroid nodules which were operated on is summarized in Table 1⇓ and shows an overall 26.4% risk of cancer."

STARTING WITH ONE IN ONE MILLION, THEN BY 2001, .8 PERCENT OF CHILDREN IN JAPAN HAD THYROID CYSTS

Keep in mind that the 50 or so nuclear plants had been operating for many years by this point, all of them emitting heavy metal poisons constantly and that children are the most vulnerable, so this statistic includes the fallout from nuclear power plants, because before the atomic age, only one in one million kids had thyroid problems.

2001 - Just 0.8% of children in Japanese control group had thyroid cysts or nodules in Fukushima study.

The increase in thyroid cysts or nodules in part is caused by the legal emissions from all nuclear plants, which includes radioactive iodine. 

By 2012 - Close to 50% of Japanese children tested, have thyroid cysts


Is it any surprise that since the Fukushima mega nuclear disaster, almost half of all children in Fukushima city had thyroid abnormalities when tested in 2012? This public health disaster is the direct result of the Fukushima mega nuclear disaster. 

The same public health disaster (and coverup) happened after Chernobyl and other nuclear disasters, so this huge rise in thyroid problems among children is nothing unusual. However, doctors in the region are blaming the mothers, stress or anything but Fukushima. Covering up, hiding and denying the radiation as it happened is the rule and the norm after every nuclear disaster. 

In the above DELETED video, a mother takes her daughter in for a thyroid test. In Fukushima, her daughter was said to be completely healthy, with no thyroid problems, but at a private hospital further away from the nuclear disaster, her daughter showed up with cysts on the thyroid gland.

Nearly half of all children tested found thyroid abnormalities in Ushiku city Ibaraki which is 204km away from Fukushima meltdowns. Its a 2 hour 40 minute drive away, yet children are suffering here.

On 10/30/2015, Kashiwa city government announced 112 of 173 children were diagnosed with thyroid cyst or nodule.B6 of them were diagnosed with cyst (larger than 5.1 mm) or nodule (larger than 20.1 mm), 11 of them were required to have follow-up test. The testees are the children born in 1992 ~ 2011. It was implemented from this July to September. In order to receive the subsidy to have this test, the parents were required to sign the declaration of consent. It declares that the test does not guarantee the potential health state in the future but only represents the present’s state, and also that it is not to evaluate the radiation effect because of the nuclear accident but only alleviate the anxiety for radiation exposure.

We Not They Finally November 5, 2015 The parents sign that "it is not to evaluate the radiation effect because of the nuclear accident but only alleviate the anxiety for radiation exposure"? Then 112 out of 173 positive tests "alleviates" that anxiety? How does that work, exactly? And from past experience, apparently they do no BIOPSIES on the "nodules." Then (at least in the past) the parents have to wait two years before re-testing. And are prohibited from getting second opinions.

And signing a piece of paper "alleviates the anxiety"? Yeah…."

These are children in Fukushima, Japan. They are wearing their government provided dosimeters.

What's wrong with this picture? The first thing to notice is that these dosimeters are sealed in thick plastic, which shields them from alpha radiation and airborne hot particles. Second, it also does not tell anyone anything about the INTERNAL radiation received via food and drinks. They also measure only a tiny fraction of the actual radiation present.

Watch and see; this cancer rate will keep on increasing, as will the rate of birth defects and 1,000 genetic diseases, infections and other health problems.

On 2/12/2015, Fukushima prefectural government announced that they found thyroid cancer from another child, whom they found no abnormality from in their first round test implemented.... Also, they found possible thyroid cancer from 7 more children, whom they found no abnormality from as well. In total, 87 children had thyroid operation, 23 children remain with possible malignant tumor. The youngest child was 6 years old when 311 took place.

What the medical doctors are NOT saying is that these cancers are different and much worse than the ones around Chernobyl. The cancers being found around Fukushima have already spread to the lymph nodes, so that makes the prognosis for further cancers much more likely, and long term survival rates will drop.

2015 - OUT OF 127 CHILDREN TESTED, 103 KIDS HAD THYROID CANCER, TOTAL OF 81% OF THOSE TESTED

5/18/2015, Fukushima prefectural government announced they found malignant or possible malignant thyroid tumor from 127 children so far. Among 127 children, they confirmed 103 children cases are thyroid cancer. Before 311, pediatric thyroid cancer was found only in one of 1 million children. The population of Fukushima prefecture is approx. 2 million in 2012.

A good way to hide this really terrible statistic, is to dilute it across the rest of Japan. Thus, this stratospheric level of thyroid cancer will completely disappear in the statistics. Going from 1 in 1 million kids having thyroid problems to 81% having thyroid CANCER, that is huge.. and sooooo sad. 

2013 TESTING NOT DONE ON MANY KIDS, FOR FEAR OF FINDING MORE THYROID CYSTS


2012 - An expert talks about how the thyroid 'tests' are done for only 10 seconds, in order to NOT FIND any abnormalities. A longer testing time would find many more cysts, so they purposely keep it short and sweet... Good news; we did not find anything wrong with your thyroid, because we refuse to really look at it. 43% of tested kids are A2 level as of 2012.

Doctors are told to NOT DO SECOND OPINIONS after someone has already been tested once. Every one of the 300,000 kids checked initially in 2012 are supposed to get rechecked annually, but only about 1/3 were actually rechecked in 2013. No one really wants to know what is going on, because the news will only get worse from here on in. A huge coverup is going on bottom line. 

DOCTORS 'ASKED' NOT TO DO BIOPSY ON NODULES OR CYSTS, DESPITE THIS BEING THE NORMAL WAY TO APPROACH THIS ISSUE

Dr. Yamashit, the smile and radiation won't hurt you head of Fukushima hospital, has put out a letter to all doctors, asking them to not do anything if they find thyroid nodules. He says; 

"In the first-stage ultrasound examination, we have defined what needs the second-stage examination as nodules over 5.1 mm and cysts (non-solid but colloidal or liquid collection only) over 20.1 mm. Thus, in addition to those with no abnormal findings, those with nodules smaller than 5 mm or cysts smaller than 20 mm have been decided not to be the subjects of further testing such as biopsies, or treatments. We would imagine that you might receive a few inquiries or consultations from parents regarding these results. Please explain to them well to make sure they understand that any further testing is not necessary before the next examination unless symptoms appear."

That equals around 87% of those tested above in 2014 had thyroid problems that often lead to cancer. 

 It looks like even less kids are being tested in 2014, than in 2013 or 2012.

“It is well acknowledged that the thyroid gland is unusually sensitive to both external and internal radiation, and of course radioiodine is employed therapeutically for diffuse and nodular toxic goiter and thyroid cancer. Indeed, the thyroid gland is arguably the only organ with a documented major rise in cancer incidence after radiation exposure, especially in children. Focal micropapillary hyperplasia has been found in the thyroids of children exposed at Chernobyl, likely representing a histopathologic precursor of carcinoma, and it is the children’s exposure to fallout that constitutes the most logical explanation. General aspects of radiation injury to the thyroid gland, and the well documented history of the Chernobyl accident in April 1986 and its consequences, have been extensively reviewed31,32 and will not be discussed at any significant length here. Suffice it to say that a strong dose response curve has been observed based upon reconstructions of estimated radiation dosage exposure and dietary iodine intake. Cardis et al30 examined the records of children who were of age.

The increased incidence clearly related to the nuclear accident, with incidence rates of thyroid cancer in children at Belarus. “Other examples of thyroid malignancies, again typically only PTC, may develop as a result of radiation fallout due to nuclear weapons testing. Kerber et al33 studied 2473 individuals who had been exposed as children to fallout from nuclear weapons testing and who received doses ranging from 0-4600 mGy and averaging 170 mGy. They found a statistically significant increase in both benign and malignant thyroid lesions, with a 400 mGy exposure being associated with a 3.4-fold relative risk. Both benign and malignant thyroid nodules were also well documented due to the fallout over the Marshall Islands in 1954.34 Indeed, thyroid cancer was the first malignancy discovered to have been associated with the atomic bombs dropped at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the presence of thyroid cancer in survivors could be directly linked to that exposure.35,36

50 per 100,000 in   1985
600 per 100,000 in 2004

Hiding and covering up health effects is common after a nuclear disaster. Blaming the victims of nuclear disasters is also common, because some parts of the medical industry works together with the nuclear industry in most cases to cover up and deny the negative health effects of low dose radiation contamination. Explore this point for yourself and see if you agree or not.

Abusers always blame the victims. Whether the abuser is inside a relationship, or outside of it working for the nuclear or medical for profit industry, the abusive pattern is always the same; shift the blame to the victim and make it THEIR fault. The abuser most often or always walks away scott free, without any punishment or consequence whatsoever, because the radioactive gun is shooting invisible bullets that no one can see, hear, feel or touch. 

MASSIVE COVERUP IS S.O.P. AFTER EVERY NUCLEAR DISASTER; FUKUSHIMA IS NO EXCEPTION TO THIS NUCLEAR INDUSTRY RULE AND PLAYBOOK

Standard operating procedure (SOP) consists of covering up the extent of the disaster, and this is the norm after every nuclear accident, spill or disaster.

Within Japan, one mother reported that the medical tests she got in the Fukushima region were completely different from the ones she got in Tokyo. 

More people who stayed have died, more kids have leukemia and cancer — All our thyroid exams turned out totally different when tested in Tokyo (VIDEO)

The main tentacles of the nuclear deception inside of the medical industrial complex consist of;

 Refusing to test for radiation internally.

Minimizing or denying any negative effects due to radiation.

Diagnosing everyone with Radiophobia.

Lose the medical records indicating damage from radiation.

Set up the machines testing for radiation by moving the calibration down, until the machine registers little or nothing at all.

Interpret the results in a way that involves twisting internal doses into exterior whole body counts and exposure, thus minimizing effective dose rate down to nothing.

Since most people believe that medical doctors are incapable of lying, deception or dirty tricks like this, the deception works for most people, most of the time. Most people treat doctors as if they were God, and everything that they say or do is infallible and absolute truth. They do not even bother asking questions or getting a second opinion from anyone.

2011 NUCLEAR INDUSTRY PROMISES (NO ONE WILL DIE OR GET SICK) RINGS EMPTY, HOLLOW AND VOID OF ALL TRUTH, FAMILY SHARES WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING


Every day Japanese government and specialists said on TV, "There is NO worry." and "There is NO immediate health effect." The nuclear authorities are all repeating the same thing; no one will ever die of Fukushima radiation and no one has ever died from radiation.  We all underwent the examination including the daughter who did NOT qualify for the thyroid examination, and it turns out we all had thyroid cysts. Fukushima Voice reports how one evacuee said; "There were some spots with air dose level of 2.0 μSv/h inside the property boundaries. I discussed with the school principal the thyroid issues in my children, but all I got back was an unbelievable answer, "I think even 5 mSv annually is fine." As I wanted to move to the west of Tokyo, we ended up evacuating to Yamanashi Prefecture. We no longer have abnormal symptoms we used to get in Fukushima. I would like Japanese government and Tokyo Electric to reveal the truth and own up their responsibilities and do what they need to do."

Could the reported 43% rate of thyroid problems actually be much worse? Based on the report of this one family, it may be time for a a non profit to do some independent health surveys and research to confirm or deny this.

The new study shows that radiation exposures are also associated with distinct clinical features that are more aggressive,” said the paper’s first author, Lydia Zablotska, MD, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at UC San Francisco (UCSF). The paper will be published online Tuesday, Oct. 28, in the journal Cancer.

Zablotska said the findings have implications for those exposed to radioactive iodine fallout from the 2011 nuclear reactor incidents in Fukushima, Japan, after the reactors were damaged by an earthquake-induced tsunami.

“Those exposed as children or adolescents to the fallout are at highest risk and should probably be screened for thyroid cancer regularly, because these cancers are aggressive, and they can spread really fast,” Zablotska said. “Clinicians should be aware of the aggressiveness of radiation-associated tumors and closely monitor those at high risk."

“Not only is the number of thyroid cancers large, but also the symptoms are serious. Last year Fukushima Medical University published 55 cases of thyroid cancer in Fukushima: 2 of them were anaplastic carcinoma, and 74% of them lymph node metastasis. Normally, the prognosis of thyroid cancer among adults is good: little metastasis and slow progression. But this is not true of thyroid cancer found in Fukushima. Moreover, the nuclear fallout contaminated not only Fukushima but also adjacent prefectures, as suggested by UNSCEAR’s report. In light of the real extent of nuclear pollution, the government must expand the coverage of medical examinations for areas outside of Fukushima Prefecture.

“While we tend to focus on thyroid cancer, we also should keep in mind the necessity of systematic medical examinations for thyroid malfunction and other illnesses. According to longitudinal surveys on A-bomb survivors, radiation dose exceeding 1 mSv (with regard to a particular organ) is statistically correlated with the increased likelihood of uterine fibroid, thyroid diseases, cataract, kidney and ureteral stones (among men), hypertension, and heart attack. The national report, published by the Ukraine government 25 years after the Chernobyl disaster, also describes thyroid malfunction and many other illnesses related to immune, respiratory, and digestive systems….”

Via jec November 7, 2014 "Again, I point out my daughter, exposed to Chernobyl radiation, whose 'teen years' exposure likely caused HER thyroid cancer. Of course, her doctor in the USA..just ignored her complaints as she got sick, tired and gained tremendous amount of weight. No tests were done until got until the tumor stuck out and she was close to Stage 4. The tumor was outside the thyroid and showed up in scans in her lungs. Surgery left her throat damaged, voice weak, swallow weak, and parathyroids damaged.

She cannot control her calcium levels in her body..likely this will affect her bones in later years. She is supposed to have scans and radiation every three years, but OBAMACARE says shes 'in remission' and only needs it five years as the test and radiation are expensive. She can not control her weight, and the thyroid medications she is on, work poorly, she is tired and feels ill most of the time . She has blood tests every few months..and has been facing this for close to 10 years as a young woman.

So I guess she is a good example of NOT testing for thyroid disease..cancer outside the gland, lots of scans, lots of meds,lots of hospital visits/surgery, lots of followups, pain/illness..AND this is what the doctors want? Guess they really want the patients to be terminal due to thyroid cancer so they can save money and just offer pallative care or 'hurry up and die' pain management."
